During his tenure with Adecco, Linton served as senior division VP, COO, and CEO of North America, managing over $5B in annual revenue across multiple divisions and facilitating multiple strategic acquisitions. Upon his departure, Linton provided leadership and advisory functions across corporate finance, team measurements and development, sales management, business process improvement, and board membership and development for many privately-held reputable organizations.
Michael Linton has ownership and leadership of multiple privately held operating businesses. Currently, these include multiple regional staffing companies, a large mechanical business and a consulting practice focused on M&A, strategy and board membership. In the past, Michael has owned and managed a manufacturer and distributor of high-end athletic equipment as well as a regional manufacturer of custom wood products.
Linton is the current board chair of the Area 20/21 WIOA board covering Pickaway, Fairfield, Hocking, Vinton and Ross counties. He is an Advisory Board member of Eastland-Fairfield, Pickaway-Ross and Pike County Career Technical Center’s high school and adult programs and is Vice President of the Logan Elm Local (Pickaway County) school board.
Linton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from capital University. He has been married to his wife, Annette, for 31 years and has seven children. Linton currently lives on and operates a small cattle farm in the Hocking Hills.
